Proudly Affirming Marriage Equality

I would be delighted to officiate at your upcoming wedding,

vow renewal or commitment ceremony on the coast of Maine.

Your ceremony is a public expression of your private commitment to each other.  Your wedding is among the most important moments in your lives.

As a parish minister for thirty-five years, I have worked with couples like you in every aspect of ceremony planning:

    -- meeting with you

    -- obtaining your license

    -- writing your ceremony

    -- conducting your rehearsal

    -- officiating at your ceremony

    -- filing your license.

Your ceremony is uniquely yours.  The readings, vows and rituals that constitute your ceremony are your choices. My easy-to-use wedding materials provide a fun way to create your own ceremony. My role is to support you in creating a ceremony that most fully represents the spirit of your commitment to one another.

“John and I would like to thank you for being a part of our exciting and meaningful wedding….complete with running through the rain, our wedding was as spontaneous and lovely as we imagined.  Thanks for your sense of humor and ability to project your voice amid the downpour.  We really see the rain as a blessing on our marriage and it made it all the more magical.”                            Meghan and John

“You were flexible, serious and showed genuine caring in performing the service.”

“It was wonderful to hear your voice transform the words we’d chosen, as well as share the happiness and kindness of your smile.  Thank you for being part of our ‘happiness’ which, ‘when it is done right, is a kind of holiness, palpable and redemptive.’”
